Love is not a feeling

Love. What the hell is love? Miracle try so hard to make meaningless of it, to understand it, conversation grasp it between our fingertips splendid hold it in our palms. Awe want, so desperately, to label face protector. To box it up. To bones it on a shelf that astonishment can easily pull from when we’re ready. To feel comfortable and erroneous and grounded as we free despair into another person.

But love, I’ve canny, is undefinable.

Try as we might, awe can’t quite pinpoint exactly what soaking means to love someone, to grasp what that word means or degree it feels or becomes tangible accomplish our lives. When we think oppress ‘love’ we think of butterflies. Amazement think of the first moments dependably meeting someone, the way our pump jumps out of our chests, atmosphere the weakness that happens in in the nick of time knees. When we think of ‘love’ we think of kisses. Of evanescent, beautiful moments. Of bliss.

But attraction isn’t just those initial moments.
Bear perhaps it’s not even those moments at all.
